Our main goal is to bring awareness and knowledge about Peruvian coffee, products and culture. While Peruvian coffee, cuisine and other products are gaining recognition worldwide, there’s still work to do in our continent down under.
Peruvian coffee has historically been off the radar, but a movement has begun to highlight its quality globally, with major importers including the US, Germany, Belgium, and Colombia. The diversity of climate, excellent altitude, and rich soil provide Peru with the perfect conditions to grow coffee rich with exotic and elegant notes.
Peru is a leading country globally for the volume of fair-trade coffee beans, proudly supporting women cooperatives and gender equality in the coffee farming industry. Our farmers are appreciated, and paid fairly, using artisanal techniques and intercropping practices. Their hard work and love for the ecosystem make us proud to collaborate with them. These practices and their devotion create the unique coffee that absorbs fruity flavors complemented by the perfect mild acidity that characterizes Peruvian coffee.
Pachamama Coffee aims to provide a sustainable product from its source to how it is presented. We strive to continuously learn and evolve our practices to more sustainable methods, encouraging a real shift within the industry. Through competition, we hope to drive other businesses to make similar changes. We believe that ourselves, our suppliers, and our consumers all hold responsibility for the choices we make.
Pachamama Coffee is fortunate to work with an outstanding local roaster in Redland Bay. Supporting local and small business is within our mission as we understand the hardships of “start-ups” and their importance in our community.
